Futurama Home Screen Theme
UPDATE: The new version is up for download. It has more customized skins and the registry issue has also been sorted. Use this link to download the new version : Futurama v1.2 Download Hi, I am a big Futurama fan and I was bit disappointed when I realised you can get home skins for lot of cartoons such as ‘The Simpsons’ but not for Futurama. So I decided to design one. It's my second attempt to design a skin for my phone. I will be making changes to it to fit my style. Comments are welcome. This Home skin includes customized skins for: -Home Screen -Contact -Start Menu -Dialling Screen Including The Banner Image -Incoming Call alert -In Call Screen Including The Banner Image -Volume Control Screen -Question Screen -alert Screen -Information Screen -Missed Call & -Windows Media Player Skin As I said before it was my second attempt to design a skin therefore I will welcome all the comments. So I get to design a better one next time and make improvement to this one. I am thinking of making single character based skin such as one for just Bender, one for Fry and so on. I got bored of designing mod for CS so I decided to do something easy and simple and take less time. So if you have any ideas let me know. Just realised it’s my first message since modaco changed. I used to post message here in very early stage of this forum. I have been keeping an eye on the forum all the time but don’t really get time give anything back to this forum. Hope you will like this one. Oh by the way, many thanks to Midnight for the brilliant tutorial about skinning. And this time I am only sticking with designing skins, not any programs. Don’t really have the time or the talent like some people here. 
Please Reboot your phone after installing the skin. Some skins needs the phone to be rebooted to work properly

I will be designing Startup Screen and Shutdown Screen Soon. Just moving home at the moment. so it might take take few days. Oh yea and let me know what you think.

I've installed it on my E200 (Unlocked), and it looks good. I had to set the homscreen manually though, and WMP hasn't been changed.

I am still waiting for my SPV E200. I have only tried it on E100 and the original Orange SPV canary. they both have smartphone 2002. but E200 runs smartphone 2003. so it might be a issue with the new operating system. i am not sure. i can not tell with-out trying it by my self.
and about the home screen selection, soetimes when you install a new skin it doesnt chage the home screen for some reason. it happens to modaco skin on mine. instead it goes back to default orange one. but its not a big problem. every thing else should change fine tho. if anyone know anything about the WMP skining issue on smart phone 2003 then please let me know how to fix it. anywyas guys i have gotta go now. gotta move my stuff into the new flat. Oh yea have you tried restarting the phone?? It better restating the phone to see the chage. windows media player takes time to unload the old skin. -------------------- |

sorry guys. just realised i have posted the wrong .cab
file. it will install everything, just wont show the home screen right after installation as i have typed in one of registry values wrong in that .cab file. that's why 'srider' had to select the home screen manually after installation. i am leaving this message from my phone. so i can't really post the right .cab file now. i have made some changes to screen too. so i will be posting the new .cab file tomorrow. Have given this one a test on my spv... really nice skin
Just a couple of things - The MRU list seems to have the bottom cut off it The "tick" colour is the same as the background colour, eg on the quick list so you can only see the selected option when it's hightlighted Still cool though, I think its gonna remain on my phone quite a while!! i tryed downloading this brillant looking skin but when i try to download it on my e200 it says this file cant be viewed on this device. how can i download it on my phone? (i wont have interenet for a day on my pc)Posted from my SmartPhone!

Another "feature" - calendar items don't seem to show up when they're not selected (in "view by day" style) cos the writing and background are both white... would be cool if you could fix this mate!!

I have fixed those problems and the made some changes to the main skin. Also I have added ‘All day events’ plug-in. Remember guys I designed it for me especially so some stuff might not be your taste. But I am willing to change the skin to which ever way most people like it. The calendar problem and has fixed too. I will be posting the new version soon. I am just designing the start up screen at the moment. Thanks for your comments. I have some sound file to go with it but I will post them in a zip file so people can download if they want them.
Just a picture to you guys how it looks like now. And yea, soft key level text colour has chaged to a yallowish colour from white. I was in a hurry so couldn't take scrreen shots of every screen to update the image properly.

hi. have downloaded the skin, you did a great job!! m looking forward to the 1.2 version that would include the date. mmmm. could you also change the text color on the {enter number} screen (dunno what to call it, its the screen that shows if you press the keypad if you're in the homescreen). its white on light orange and i can't quite see it in my e100. Thanks a lot.

which version are you trying to install?? try the new version which can be found in the download section. also make sure your phone is application unlocked. cos i havent got application locked version for orange yet. i sm not sure why you getting this message. people has installed in there E200. but try the new one. its worth of try. hope it will work.

i will be soon. at first i wanna design a family guy theme. then i will look into simpsons. as a lot of people has designed the simpsons skin already i will have to come up with something new and which suits my style too.
