I am unable to get the GPS hardware to work. Google Maps and Live Search are giving me errors that there isn't any GPS hardware present. I loaded GPSplex and GPSTest and both are unable to see any GPS activity just like the GoogleMaps and LiveSearch is reporting. I have verified that the settings are as follows
GPS program port: COM3
GPS hardware port: COM9 at Baud Rate:9600
Manage GPS automatically is enabled

Any ideas and what is wrong?

I just had very similar and it seems its diferent for each and every phone, even if they are on the same firmware level. My com 9 is the same as yours but, try putting com 2 instead of com 3. Com 3 works for many but not me whilst com 2 works perfectly.

so does google maps if GPS is configured correctly. And TomTom 7 needs a work around, not sure about other versions of TomTom.

Thanks for the replies... nothing still works even after playing with the changes to COM2 sad.gif

I wanted to avoid doing a hard reset but it looks like it is my last alternative.
