Probably a silly question, but ive had a search with no joy!

How do I turn the torch on? Ive seen you have to hold down the vol button on the side, but if I hold down the top vol button it zooms the screen in, and if I hold down the bottom one nothing happens!

you have to go in to buttons in the settings menu and specify that you want this option on mate.... It's the last tab at the bottom of the screen and it's called flashlight, you will be able to set the period it stays on for as well biggrin.gif

And is there a way to use the torch when using i.e. Mobile Shell? Then I do not have the today screen and also no today plugin which allows me to switch it on. In other words: how do I switch it on by software?

Regards,
Rudi

This works, if I'm fast enough pressing the Volume Down button then the today screen appears for half a second. But this is not what I'm looking for, I would like to switch it on by software as you can do with Samsung Today 1 (or 2?)...
