Hi, I recieved my Htc touch diamond pouch today and I must say that it is very worth getting if you have a touch diamond. It has a snug fit and it cleans off the finger prints in one pass, but two gives the best result. It has the htc logo stamped into the leather and looks really slick.
I really like the look of my htc diamond and was reluctant to hide it away in a case by I must say that the case still gives it a small form factor. |

Interesting, received an email from Expansys this morning saying mine had been despatched (but, sounds like some landed this morning, so, wonder if it was despatched last night or this morning!!!) ... very excited to get a way of cleaning the finger print magnet!

Well, what do you know ... just been delivered. Actually very smart. M. Left my phone at the bar in it's new leather htc case, bar lady called me back and said I left my credit card wallet on the bar. When I told her it's actually my phone she couldn't believe it. I pulled out the diamond and she said 'that phone is so sweet and dinky' her words not mine by the way. |

Play.com have this one, but it doesn't look like a "pouch" to me.
http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/5622...ch/Product.html# I don't really want the flip, belt clip style case that many of the chunky HTC phones come with. Is the Expansys one essentially just a sleeve? Is it rigid or soft leather? -------------------- |

Hmmmn, interesting.
On here: http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc_item.aspx?i=168360 The "Larger image" links to http://i.expansys.com/i/b/b168360.jpg How easy is it to slide out, please do you find yourself answering calls etc. when just trying to get the thing out of the pouch? ![]() I'm guessing the more traditional htc case has the belt clip?

... I\m also waiting for a car charger. I don't know if you need a special car charger for Diamond. Any Mini USB charger should work fine since 5V is the standard voltage. I've used the one I had for my old Motorola V3 Razor and it charged OK my Diamond. There are also other phones/models that use USB charging and I think any of those chargers will fit (sorry for off-topic)

A slight resurrection I'm afraid, but is this pouch the same as the one that comes in the Box from Orange?

i keep answering or ignoring calls while trying to remove the phone from the pouch, is there a twerak that will force the diamond to answer/ignore calls by using the hardware green/red buttons and not the screen?

Yep. Orangehave always bundled the official pouches with HTC devices. I just started using the pouch that came with mine (orange) since it is the only way to remove finger grease consistently! I had also applied the screen protector that came with it - anyone found any longer term issues using both - i.e. protector getting peeled off by the pouch etc...? Is is pretty tight... |
