1) i run Vista x64-bit Home Premium.... the upgrade installation file should run right?

2) do i need to app unlock? i remember last time when i hard-reset my phone, the method i used was to install secpolicies, then use Security Manager PowerToy to downgrade the security level(and found out that this program doesnt work on x64... had to resort to using my old laptop, which i dont have me right now)---

3) do i need to do Modaco GPS unlock? i've heard the gps lock is much quicker on the upgraded firmware+updated Garmin, but is this a result of better drivers, or boosted power to the GPS chip(leading to lower battery life?)

4) what worked in WM6 that wont work in 6.1? (eg which might break or be unusable or uninstallable?)

no the installer won't run on 64 bit systems. I had to use an old computer in order to update my phone.

1) it works fine, I did it. You just need to run the modem drivers install app in xp compatibility mode. once that is done the actual os installer works fine in x64

2 & 3) no unlock required whatsover, gps works fine with garmin

4) pretty much everything seems to still work in 6.1, but i don't use a ton of apps so thats just something you will have to find out.
