I have an Omnia in Spanish -Orange., It is suitable for all companis, is free by imei (I am Movistar), bat the rom is customiced by Orange.

Hi there is no rom out that is freely available in Spanish without orange customization. You just have to wait for someone to upload a Spanish rom or Samsung to release a Rom. (tienes que espera por esto)

To extract ROM content you must follow this simple steps:
1-Unzip attached file to any folder
2-Connect your Omnia via ActiveSync to your PC
3-Copy DisableSecurity.CAB file to any folder -in your OMNIA- ie: "My documents"
4-In your Omnia run File Explorer and goto that folder "My documents" and tap file DisableSecurity.CAB, it must be installed on internal memory
5-In your PC double clic dumpi900.bat file, it will extract all ROM contents into a folder called "DUMP", it should take around 10 minutes

and finally:
6-once step 5 ends, ZIP the complete DUMP folder and please upload it to www.megaupload.com!!!

If you success it will be a great contribution to all Spanish Omnia users...

How long is the time after point 5 to see the folder called " DUMP " ? I try it, but nothing happened after about 15 minutes ?

You can restore the programs that orange erase in this rom?. IT is posible past this rom to other most actual than HH1?.

If you want, you can do a hard reset to keep your privacy. I can merge the last rom programs with the languange from your dump, it's a little hard to do but I will do my best...
I have XP pro, don't know if this will works under Vista...



I used XP, in my Intel Core2 Duo took around 10 minutes to extract the rom, it can take a longer time...anyway, to check if something goes wrong by doing this procedure:

do all steps until step 4,

step 5: open a DOS window, and go to the folder when you unzipped the i900Dumper.zip file, and type this command:

pdocread -w -d DSK1: -b 0x800 -p Part02 0 0x7e9d800 Part02.raw

if goes ok, it will show lots of numbers & module names, allof this is extracted from device's rom to folder "DUMP" in the same folder you extracted the dumper.

If does not work, pls post the error message, it is easy to correct it.

Look at my picture above. I have the same problem.

Have you installed the DisableSecurity.CAB? It is very important, maybe need a soft reset. Anyway if it still gives the same message you can edit the following registry entry:

HKLocalMachine\Security\Policies\Policies
look at valuename '00001001' if it set to dword:2 change it to dword:1

maybe need a soft reset too...but it should work ok.

A mi parece todos los que buscan Spanish-ROM deben hablarlo no? no entiendo el porque seguir hablando en inglés.

Te traduzco lo que dejaron arriba para que lo puedas entender:

Para extraer el contenido de la ROM debes seguir los siguientes pasos:
1. Descomprime el archivo adjunto en cualquier carpeta
2. Conecta tu Omnia a la PC vía ActiveSync
3. Copia el archivo "DisableSecurity.CAB" a cualquier carpeta, por ejemplo: Mis documentos.
4. En tu Omnia ejecuta el File Explorer (explorador de archivos) y dirígete al folder "Mis documentos" e instala el archivo "DisableSecurity.CAB", debes hacerlo en la memoria interna.
5. En tu PC le das doble clic al archivo "Dumpi900.bat", extraerá toda la información de la ROM a una carpeta llamada "DUMP", te tomará unos 10 minutos.
Finalmente:
6. Una vez que el paso 5 termine, comprimes la carpeta DUMP y lo subes a megaupload, rapidshare, etc.

Esta bien sencillo si yo tuviera tu Omnia lo hubiera hecho hace rato.
