 French Rom for i900 ?, To replace SFR's ROM

Hello every body !

I am new here and I yould like to know if theire is a new rom that I could download in french?

I actuly have the G4 / G3 version by SFR (french operator).

you'll have to wait for sfr or samsung to put one out, or flash your device to english, then translate it to french, if realVGA works on it.

You're welcome - No, I'm not French. You don't need user downloader for that built, it's an .exe file like i900DXHH1 - just double click on it.

Sure, actually userdownloader is meant to dump the rom, not to flash it !
Where did you find that one please ? And if you dumped it (without userdownloader I can guess by your reply), how did you do that ?

ten minutes after i reset, it seems it works ... for 5 minutes with the omnia logo (which is nicer than playeraddict !) a new configuration of wm 6.1 and it works.


what's new ? i d'ont know ! different animation when turning it ... for the moment that's all i see.

it works.

but seems i've always the same problem with gps on pictures. let's give time to see.

or perhaps the gps needs a new phone rom.

in fact after 5 minutes outside, the gps give pictures a GPS information but only the lat. long is always 0° as before.


(quand est-ce que ca revient samsungplayeraddict, (when does comeback the french forum on omnia ?), c'est dur l'anglais ! (english is so hard !)).

Your phone was sfr branded so, but it's strange that your phone version wasn't updated (the .exe contains HG6 phone), I think it's related to the error message "Error! PhoneUSB Detect Failed" you had. Did you install activesync and samsung usb driver before launching upgrade? Make sure you are using windows xp.

Have you installed phone modem drivers? That usually happens when the downloader can't find the Qualcomm chipset (Phone part)

Please, have a look at attached procedure.
