 How to change the main menu settings and Icons?

Hi all,

I tried to find any solution thru this forum and google but couldn't find any information so far. Actually I have many question but let's start with changing the main menu settings. Is there any workaround how to change the icons, background or only the shortcuts to the programms?

So many Programs for me are useless in the main menu, like word, excel etc. which I rather would change to other useful Programs, I guess I am not the only one. I know there is the possiblity to edit 1 Page with own shortcuts but thats 12 Icons. 

So any help would be much appreciated.

Guys, are you all happy with the main menu icons? Nobody want to replace them with the once are really usefull?

Do you all use the menu from i900 or do you changed to 3party programms like SPB Shell, Winterface etc.

I really like the i900 today screen 2, rather would have the screen 3 though but how I can change the main menu? Really not adjustable in anyway?

you should try reshack with \Windows\Launcher.exe to see if icons are on the exe or not...

geek78, thanks for this info. I downloaded the reshack for try out the launcher.exe file. The problem I have now, I can't see the "windows" folder from the omnia on my pc if I am connected. I did "unhide" the folder settings though on my desktop but still can't see the windows folder and of course this I need for open the launcher.exe in reshack. Any idea how I can make my windows folder visible when connected with PC?

Sorry, just find it out. Even I had "show hidden files" I did also had a hash for "Hide protected operating system files". So after I take out this hash I can see the windows folder. So let me try now with reshack. Will post here if it worked or not.

mhhh, I couldn't manage to change the settings. I guess I need to wait until some crack write a tool. rolleyes.gif

I installed now "Winterface" easy to use. Pity Samsung did not come up with some editing possibility for the main menu.
