i took my HTC Touch out of my pocket today and the screen was white. nothing i do will make it go back.
it still responds to touch and i can switch it on/off with the power button.
it was bought from ebay and the seller doesn't have the reciept anymore, so even though its still under its 1 year warrenty i can't claim!

i went to a local phone repair place and they said they didn't know where they could get a screen for it so turned me away.
what other options do i have? where can i turn...

please can anyone help

You don't need the receipt to claim the warranty.

Just call HTC and you should be able to book it in based on the Serial Number.

ok just one more thing... if the phone was knocked say while it was in my pocket (im pretty certain it wasn't),
will htc know from the problem and void the warranty?
and then send the phone back to me and charge me for postage etc..

thanks

If the casing is unmarked and the warranty seal intact they can't prove anything... wink.gif
