Hi, Has anyone run across a problem that you can see the email or sms on the message list but when you go to the message I have a black screen. Anythoughts? thanks

I've just noticed now that I can't even see what I'm tyoing as a reply to sms and probably emails now.

hello there,

I hope I can help. Do you have any 3rd party apps that could be interfering?

Also, I wonder if a hard reset would do the trick, (it will delete all your personal info., press up and the ON/OFF button at the same time.

If that doesn't help, take your phone back and ask for a refund.

I do have a lot of third party apps but I've had them for a while. I'll try the hard reset. is there a wayt to back up everything first?

I know of a progam called sprite backup that may work well for you.

Also, the installation CD that came with the BJ2 has a program called Media Wizard 3.0 that can backup your emails and SMS messages.

Hope it helps,

Isn't this just the problem caused by, IIRC, attachments being stored on the memory card being corrupted?

Jeyo Outlook extender will back up SMS and, presumably your emails are already synced with Outlook? Just delete your message store on your memory card and re-sync.

So if I delete the messages on my memory card, it might fix it? I'd like to be able to try and correct this problem without maviung to lose everything in a hard reset. thanks

What si an IIRC?

I'm having that same problem again. Is there a more direct way to fix what is wrong with it? I don't have my sms stored on my memory card i think.
