I did backup on my Omnia and installed SPB Shell 2.1.2 . Every thing was cool
but the next day my Omnia went to blank screen and i had to perform soft reset several times till i could do something. Also after soft reset it was very slow. So i uninstalled the SPB shell , didn't help. But when i restored from full backup the Omnia was stable again. It seems that SPB Shell is doing something problematic to my Omnia, Uninstall didn't help but full backup restore did help. Anybody had this problem too ? |

This was a problem with some of the earlier ROM versions.... |

thats an old rom, upgrade I can upgrade only in Samsung Service center otherwise I loose the warranty. They have DXHH3 and according what I read about this ROM not see big advantages. Some nice to have features. I think not worth spending hours on it. Prefer wait for next official ROM. Am I wrong ? |

Hello! I am using DXHI3 ROM and tried to install SPB Mobile Shell 2.1.2 and after the process of installation starts, I get an error message like:"The installation os SPBmobileshell.arm.cab was unsuccessful". Anyone has any idea?

Do you have S2U2 installed and running as well? I have a similar problem when I leave the Now screen enabled with S2U2 also enabled... sometimes after S2U2 powers off the omnia (set to 17 seconds) then I can't get my omnia back to respond, have to do a soft reset by first taking off the battery... But the problem is fixed if I tell SPB not to show the Now screen on resume...

SPB-shelll locked my Omnia runnig on DXHI3. Left soft key just says "Cancel" and will light up when Call or End-Call button is pushed but nothing happens any more. Only Soft-reset will get it back to live. After havving this problem 3 times in one day I got fed up with it and cleaned the system with a Hard reset. No more SPB-shell (though it was very nice) but my Omnia working fine again..
