Hi folks,
it is now 2 month ago that got my i900 and im still playing around with it like it is the first day.... how ever there are also some silly points with the Omnia that i think needs to be optimized! As a intrested viewer of this site, i have read about several topics and now i thought i could use my skills to give some inputs to this site. But as always you don't need to reinvent the wheel and that the reason for my topic. So the first thing is: has anybody managed to build an adapter for using power along with the earphones? It is nasty to listen to music and probably in the middle of your favourite song the i900 askes you to change the battery because of low battery. such an adapter is also usefull for car navigation. Everybody who uses GPS knows how fast power goes down. secondly, and that is the main issue of this topic: i would like to build an extension to the earphone plug so that you are able to remotely skip tracks while listening to music. It anois me that i have to pull out the phone from my pocket just to skip or rewind a track. I tought of using the usb lines of the port to hook up the hardware to the phone and than let a small software do the interpretation of the buttons. Alltough i have experience in programming windows programms i have never programmed windows mobile HAS ANYBODY ANY HELP ON THE SAMSUNG CONNECTOR AND ON HOW TO OPEN A COMMUNICATION PORT TO AN EXTERNAL DEVICE IN WM? it must be possible since external GPS receivers often use usb connection to communicate with WM This is ment to be a basis for a diskussion and everybody is invited to participate....... |
