My HK i908 has had problems from day 1 (3 weeks ago).
After loading, say 3 GB of data (music etc) onto the internal 16GB ROM (with no added software installed), I would restart the phone to find all the data gone and the ROM only reporting 0.43MB used. I tried this several times, but always the loaded data would disappear form the ROM. I returned the phone to Samsung HK, who replaced the "whole" motherboard! Again this same problem continues - complete data loss. Is anyone having similar problems? I dont want to upgarde the ROM on the phone to another one (like a SG ROM), as it is the newest HK Rom, and I don't want to play with it as I may need to return it. Any ideas ... HELP please aussie |

Am so disappointed.
Seems I am the only person having this problem. Cant believe it, I am so much in love with the i908 Omni ... I think I will just upgrade to the new HTC Touch HD, in 2 weeks, when it is released here late next week here in HK. aussie |

Hey Aussie,
Sounds like you got a bad Omnia in your hands. Sorry I can't be much of help. You have my sympathy. It's weird that Samsung HK are leaving you with a non-working storage. If I were you I would have been banging fists on their counters until I get a working phone. P.S. Some people will be jealous of your about to be HTC Touch HD. |

Yes, what you say makes sense, but in HK, behaving like "normal" doesn't work, unfortunately. One is at their mercy ...
I am not sure what it can be, given Samsung already replaced the "whole" motherboard, which includes the 16GB memory ROM. A replacement phone makes sense, but .... they wont do it! Thanks aussie |
