Cameraware - Unable to install on HTC Blackstone

Hi,

I've been trying to install Cameraware on my Blackstone, but keep getting the error message as shown in the screenshot attached.

I've tried installing to both the internal memory and SD card, and using both the windows installer and cameraware3.cab. No joy.

Any idea why this may be happening?

Thanks... I did previously have it installed actually, then re-installed as the font wasn't right (it was using what I assume to be the system default font, as if the required one was missing). That's when I started getting the problem.

I had the same problem here when trying to reinstall because of the screwy font. I ended up extracting the cab file contents and copying them across manually.

Could you try the attached CAB on the blackstone, reboot, and see if all is well?

That seems to work fine for me. I've tried it a couple of times with no probs.

have just tried was getting the same error, i browsed to the windows folder and the zlcd file was still there. i deleted this file and it has now installed. i rebooted the app runs but the font is still not right.

Thanks, that one is working just fine - installed with no problems, and even the LCD font is now working. Much better!

Have just tried a reinstall over the top and then rebooted and its now working. Cheers Paul.

Just to add that I had the exact same problem on a HTC S740 - removed and reinstalled the application and then received the insufficient permissions message. Using the Blackstone CAB resolved the issue.
