Have a 360 since before XMas but haven't being playing it cos all I have a a SD non widescreen TV so I could barely make out text and the likes.

Looking at getting a wide screen display (don't want a huge one as it'll probably be in my smallish room with the screen only a few feet away) and have a few questions. If you can help that would be great!

At the min Dell are doing a nice deal on a 24" widescreen LCD (1900x1200) 16MS Response

Questions:

Will there be a border around image? Or will the display run in a non-native rez resulting in a fuzzy look?

Is the 16MS response time too slow? will there be ghosting?

I also have the option of a 26" LCT TV 1366 x 768. Just wondering if you'd be concerned with the low rez especially with the upcoming HD-DVD player (it might support 1080?)

any suggestions or advice would be really appreciated!
thanks

If i'm honest i'd recomend scrapping that and just go for a nice HD TV.... I have a 26" and i have a fairly small room but the graphics really improve on HD and the prices are fairly low atm so that'd be the best way to go.

1 year+ on .... smile.gif

Well I bought the 22" display, I didn't really have room for a bigger set.

I now use the 22" for my PC, don't use my 360 at all but hopefully will be moving in the next few months and willl get a 32 - 37" HD set and play out Halo3 in full HD glory (I've all ready bought it, but don't want to ruin it till I get the right setup!)

So you don't play an amazing machine because the display isn't right ?? What a waste of the best console ever seen
