If you could make the wav files smaller my mini-sd card will thank you though :lol: - for most purposes a sample rate of 22khz or even 11khz sounds fine. Note that your custom background image doesn't display in the latest version of the app, if you read my comments in the first post you'll see why. (using DBPowerAmp, to convert to .wav). Guest lighthouse82 Posted November 15, 2004 Report Share Posted November 15, 2004 me, i'm not consciously creating any particular format - if it starts out as a compatible wav that's good enough for me. however, for the files which don't work, because they're not PCM but ADPCM, i used DBPowerAmp audio converter. i think i got it from www.coolsmartphone.com but if you search either here or on google i'm sure you'll find it. you need to DL the codec for the format you want to convert into. it adds a nice shell extension so that you can simply right click on the file to be converted and one of the options is "convert". hope that helps. lighthouse Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
