Welcome to the forum

You can use PCM-format wavs or MID0-format MIDIs only. No MP3s I'm afraid.

Connect the phone to your PC with ActiveSync and copy them from your PC and paste them into \My Smartphone \IPSM \Application Data \Sounds.

Check out 'First 48 Hours with a Smartphone' in the FAQs section.

The phone is application locked. You can remove it easily enough using the Orange Developers site but I should warn you that, even if you follow the instructions to the letter, the Orange computer can be dodgy. If it doesn't work straight away, don't worry, try again. It has taken some members a few days of slog.
