I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section..am so confused where to go!! I need some advice.. I just bought the new O2 XphoneII, and I wanna download homescreens, which I did. But I am not sure how to load it into my smartphone. I plugged it into my computer, but then dunno where to save the downloaded homescreens to. And there are a couple of different formats for the homescreens that I've downloaded, some in zip, some in other formats.

Please kindly advise! Thank you!

Hi,

A.

When files are in ZIP format, you need to unzip (extract) the contents of the archive first using either WinZip or WinRAR program.

If the zip contains jpg, xml files inside, you need to manually transfer those files to \Storage\Application Data\Home

If the zip contains a CAB or HME file, you need to copy the CAB or HME to \Storage\windows\Start Menu\Accessories folder. Open Accessories folder via Start > Accessories, look for the CAB or HME inside the folder, click on the file to initiate installation. Follow the onscreen instructions until the file is installed.

B.

When files are in RAR format, extract the contents first, determine wht files are inside then do the same as instruction A.

C.

When still in doubt, visit the FAQ Section of this Forum for more tips and tricks. ;)

You do not extract cab files just place the whole cab in the above directory.
