      ILLEGAL CONTENT I'd like to just reaffirm MoDaCo's position regarding piracy and illegal content in the light of some recent questions / postings. Posts will be censored by myself or my moderation team if the contain or link to: Illegal / pirated / cracked software or sites that host such softwareNintendo emulators / ROMs or sites hosting them (in light of Nintendo's legal stance)CUSTOM ROMS You may discuss and post links to custom device ROMs on MoDaCo, provided the following rules are adhered to: ROMs must not contain any illegal 3rd party software (this includes trial versions included without permission)ROMs must give full credit to the original authorISSUES If you have any issues with this policy, please contact PaulOBrien directly via PM.

I get the oposite :cry:

Sometimes when I close explorer or explorer crashes

I lose all red folders, then I have to look at the dates

of all posts and try and figure out which ones I havent read ;)

Yeah i have that as well ;) Usually when go straight to the main index page from an external site, then refresh it without moving to any specific forums first :lol:

I hate it when the red folders stick, even though there a no unread posts.

Its just trying to taunt me...

No it's not - You do have unread messages they just aren't at the top as expected - threads locked by the mods (e.g. for piracy) are moved to the bottom of the group (i.e. the last page).

It took me ages to figure this one out.

Alternatively click on the red folder itself for a list of topics it thinks you haven't read.

well having not logged on all weekend, the red folders have finally defeated me i can no longer keep up i have decided to only log on afew times a day and read the most interesting posts, i tried catching up honest but they were getting posted just as fast as i was reading.

never mind maybe i'll see an improvement in my social life now that i've lost the battle with the red folders.

The Red Folders have now beaten me :!: I just can't keep-up with them anymore....God knows I really tried :roll:

Now all I need is for someone to tell me how to turn them off and then I'll just watch the interesting stuff :wink:

I logged on Saturday morning for a few minutes then back on again

Sunday. It took me almost all of the day to catch up :shock:

I've got rid of those RED FOLDERS :!:

Everytime I come onto the site I just click "Mark all items as read" :!:

My life has returned to normal ;)

Ok can't find it whats a RED folder? could this be added to the FAQ along with entire folder explamations etc.

When you log on to the forum, all the posts you haven't yet read are in Red, showing which one's you still have to look through. Blooming millions of em usually ;)

A red folder is any posting on this site that you have not read.

Unread folders are coloured red ;)

haha :) i have caught up with those red folders again didnt think i ever would but its been quiet at work and quiet on the forum over the last few days, back on top ;)

although by the time i typed this there will probably be another 1. :roll:

I have not had much chance tonight to read all the topics and now I have

to go out :)

I have not read a single post in Main all day (Ileave the biggest til last)

but have been on and off this forum since about 6:30 this morning.

I'll have to catch up tonight when I get back. :roll:
