Anybody know how I can fix this error? I have another topic around there, but not sure this is related to Settings->Data Connections anymore.

I get the same thing, has anyone else been able to fix this? I think it's related to the e-mail application from Telus. The option is to hit "OK" and it goes away, but it keeps coming back.

It's probably related to the availability of the Ev-DO network (atleast for Verizon network). If it is not available or weak in your area - then your phone is not able to login and then it switches to the 1x RTT network and accesses the internet using that.

I was getting this error when sending picture messages, so I took it to the Verizon store. When I cancelled the V-Cast from my phone, they removed my pix messaging too....he reprogrammed my phone in about 10 minutes and its working great. If you made changes to your account, it may just need reprogrammed (I would suggest having a rep do this!)

what happened is that they did not turn on you evdo setting. It is free to get done just call them in and they will kick it on for you. Or as already stated you are just not in good enough coverage. but if ev is at the top then you need to call them.
