MDA III - On o2 Network

Hello all...

I have a T-Mobile MDA III, which I have been using on the T-Mobile network for sometime.

Im not really happy with the cost of my calls and various other charges from TMobile so I decided to switch to o2. I got the unlock utility from XDA Developers, and it seemed to work well.

However, recently I have been having issues receiving text messages..

I was wondering if this was something to do with the T-Mobile ROM.

I have downloaded the O2 XDAIIs Rom and was going to install that..

I was just wondering if anyone knew any reason not to attempt this?

Thanks

As long as your MDA III is CID unlocked (unlocked to any Blue Angel rom) then you'll be able to run the O2 XDA IIs rom BUT the MDA III rom is the newest and best rom available (newer radio stack, newer build of WM2003SE, etc etc).
