Generally I recommend getting a digitizer LCD combo as it's a tricky operation. But hey, if you succeed perhaps you could write a guide? Well, just an update, I took apart my HTC Touch Pro last Saturday and removed both cameras. It was slightly easier than doing the same on my HTC Tytn II previously. I didn't encounter any tricky parts at all. I think HTC are manufacturing the phones in a really mass production factor so it makes it easier to produce.
