3 posts in this topic

I am getting started in development Windows Mobile software...

before that I am more familiar in visual basic and C#, but now I am interesting in Windows Mobile..

But I am not sure the tools that I use and the device I use is correct??

I have prepare:

1) Microsoft Visual Studio 2005

2) HTC Touch (support Windows Mobile 6.0)

What else development tools are needed to develop Windows Mobile software?

I want to development a Windows Mobile software that support wireless and can communicate through wireless with visual basic application... I can I do to that? got any information about this kind method?

You need Visual Studio 2005 Standard or above (not Express), the Windows Mobile 5 or 6 SDK for your device (i.e. Pocket PC), Activesync or WMDC as appropriate, then you're ready to start developing :(
