I'll try today too! I've tried with 21935 but it gives me a mistake... whene I build it says me that there is an exeption with an external program.... it says me when starts building xip :-( maybe i've much luck with this build...

If i port the xip using my xiib3 like base i can cook a wm 6.5 xiib3 ROM. Isn't true??

XIIB3 = last official italian ROM

i am off work next week, so i will get as TUT together for XIP porting, manually.

I dont think there is real need to make SYS tut, as it is kinda straight forward. Basically get the SYS from where ever and replicate what is on Omnia. Then make whatever changes you do afterwards.

Just to let you know.

Got the same bar problems:

Restart device and bar will disappear :)

How did you get those new icons for Lock and "X"? They didn't work for me.

Went back to 23016. Much better ;)

It looked like that before restarting: 35395d1249576631t-dxid1_windows_mobile_6_5_deutsch-23022_4.png

BTW: Can anybody help me? I can't get TitaniumWeather working: The panel won't show on Today screen. Everything else is working. Updating, Settings etc. I can even read the values with Chome Editor: It says there: Graz, updatetet at ....

I tried disabling, and enabling the panel, restartet device.

But paneel won't show up.

Mortscript is registered, as i get a message at startup.

Hope you can help me..

Mayne the problem is the translation....

try to rename all your MUIs, imageinfo.txt and folder to 409 and all MUIs in OEM.

Edit value in all rgu from lang folders to 409.

And leave 409 in boot.rgu

Like that I think it'll work!

Maybe later I'll upload Polish and English SYS & XIP ported to Omnia.

I ported 23025 SYS & XIP to italian, the touch is worst than the original wm 6.1 rom, IMHO.

I known, touch is very bad :/. For me build 23017 is the best.

I ported 23022,4 and 5 and they works fine!

I love new UI!

You have only to change X and OK resolution from 32x32 to 16x16!

The porting works with automate XIP kitchen!

I've only a problem:

-CalssicBlue Theme like alltime is corrupted, but if i put a working classicblue.tsk it doesn't work fine with new UI can anyone post a working ClassicBlue.tsk?

I think like sector touch works fine!

If you want i can up my xip.bin..... SYS porting is too easy...

If you get the basics on porting idea, im sure xip can be ported very easily.

There are 2 ways:

The dirty automatic way which you almost dont understand what you are doing.

and

The manual way where you need to pay attention on porting the overlapped modules :D. From the bottom to the top.

Why we need the manual way if we got the automatic? Sometimes we dont get the expected results with the automatic and we need to manually take the control. It is painful but hey it works.

The manual way needs a bit of understanding the concept of pointers and references.

It needs some reading over xda, which clearly explains how to port a XIP and there are very helpful guys over there.
