Guest steviem
I did a quick search of "spica root" on twitter, and found this: http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html No idea if it'll work, looks kind of hopeful, but you need to trust the site. http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html If you do, could you find a way of getting the xvid/divx support onto other android phones? :)
Guest finalmoksha
I did a quick search of "spica root" on twitter, and found this: http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html No idea if it'll work, looks kind of hopeful, but you need to trust the site. http://forum.leshak.com/samsung-i5700-spic...y-lite-t13.html If you do, could you find a way of getting the xvid/divx support onto other android phones? :D I have rooted my spica using the instructions on this forum and updated the firmware to the latest from Samsung. I have been trying to find an EN custom ROM but have not found any yet. But even the rooting is a good start as I am now able to use SetCpu and MarketEnabler. One thing though, nstall the latest New PC Suite from Samsung as the drivers provided on the forum do not work with all spica firmwares. Guest vinokirk
Cant you just use the universal aroid root program?
Guest DanWilson
Modaco has very little support for the Spica I think, Google SamDroid. It has 2.1 ROMS, and I think Cyanogen 6... Unlike us.
