v1.02a Changelog (13/01/2010)

- Fixed external sdcard detection and modified settings.apk to support external sdcard

- Headphone support added

- Accelerometer (orientation), compass and proximity sensors added

- Modified homescreen to support screen orientation

- Experimental optimal performance and power saving modifications to kernel

Known issues:

- Handsfree is not working yet.

- Bluetooth, camera, gps and lightsensor not working.

- Gallery app missing. (Google didn't give us a gallery yet)

- Calendar sync never stops. (I hope newer version from google will solve this. Disable auto sync from settings)

- No 3D support

Next release plan:

- As much features as i can, so it may take more time :)

great work. I tested it and was surprised that almost everything is working.

I really want to try this firmware! But I don't have any internet acces with my operator... I will wait for the firmware with wifi acces i think.

I couldn't wait and I installed it. Works perfect, but without wifi, camera and lock button (like you said). I will upgrade when you realese the new firmware.

fyi, the lock button's fonction is now on the drop call button, just press it briefly to lock the phone but i'd rather have it back on the original lock key :)

There is no 3D implementation in this firmware? Because I tried Neocore and says: "Your device does not support Qualcom accelerated graphics"

This will be improved in the next released?

This is great to hear, thanks for your effort! without wifi my phone is worthless though, so i'll join the testing as soon that gets working :-)

I've noticed some problem besided the ones already noticed by other people:

1. there is a flickering of the screen

2. I can't find google goggles on the market B) however I can find the last update of google maps (the one with labs active)

Hello there, im a newbie, but i found this post and i wanted to try your android 2.0 version for my samsung galaxy, im using Odin and have download your files, but when i click on BOOT and choose the file "I7500Eclair-BOOTLOADER.tar" i get this error you can see on image file "img.jpg" and when i finally add all of them and click on START i get this error on image "img2.jpg"

Can please someone help me???

when i try to open Odin in XP mode it is showing me now only the last error, when i press on START: "Check image files !!"

You have to extrac the rar files, select BOOT, PDA and PHONE tars. And don't forget select Orion.ops too! Then press start and everything should go perfect.

yes i forgot to put the "ops" file, but now it worked, BUT it stays on the "ANDROID" it says "PASS", but dont know whats going on :) im sending the log if thats help to someone (btw, i didnt select the csc file as i wanted to keep the original csc file on the phone, is it important to add the csc file as well?):

go to recovery mode and do a wipe :)
