For people confused over the two .rar files...

When you extract part 1, part 2 will be added to the .nb0 file automatically, you don't need to extract part 2 as well :)

alright, tested 10 min. so far and found few bugs related to Samsung Chome.

1. SS clock dose not display the correct time and date, despite the correct time on taskbar.

2. music tab has missing icons and dose not open SS touchplayer upon pressing

3. calender tab dose not show text (is that suppose to be like that? havent used SS Chome for a while)

I'm confused as to why 28205 is 6.5.3 and 23518 is 6.5.5 ?

Shouldn't it be the other way around ?

What do you also mean by timebomb patched ?

ROM is release 'as-is', there is NO garuantee that any, or none, of phone functions will work after flashing this ROM. (Anyway, it's working on my phone).

ROM specifications:

- ROM based WM 6.5.5 build 23518 (Thanks Da_G for the based ROM)

- OEM from 1st ROM released on Jan 2010

Hi KSTAN.

Wow! 247MB phone memory available. Your PDA part it's really amazing. Excellent!

My Omnia-2 is with WM6.5 PDA=J9, CSC=J2 and Phone=J1 official ROM.

Can I flash your PDA part here without flashing the EBOOT, CSC and Phone parts?

this is what if found, perhaps others have more answer.

  • Added System.AppDomainManager as well as its prerequisites
    • Advanced stuff that the majority of people don't touch, I bet
    • Used for customizing the CLR
    • Already exists in full .NET 3.5

    • Added System.TimeZoneInfo
      • Currently it is internal sealed, but that will likely change by release time
      • Already exists in full .NET 3.5

      • Added System.DateTimeOffset
        • It's public!
        • Already exists in full .NET 3.5

        • Added System.Security.Cryptography.SHA256 and related classes
          • Also added HMAC with SHA1 and SHA256 support
          • Already exists in full .NET 3.5

          • Added System.Linq.Expressions namespace

            • Probably a bunch of other LINQ-related additions as well
            • Already exists in full .NET 3.5

            [*]Added System.Runtime.Serialization.Json namespace

            [*]It certainly isn't for ASP.NET

            [*]Perhaps it's for Silverlight?

[*]Already exists in full .NET 3.5

            [*]Added System.IO.UnmanagedMemoryStream

[*]No visible changes to the Marshal class though

[*]Already exists in full .NET 3.5

            [*]Added Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms.CentralMenu

            [*]A mystery, Holmes!

[*]Also added CentralMenuExtensions - very interesting

KSTAN says: " removed the Beta expires 05/01/2010 on today screen. " - phone freezes, after reset all u can see is only blank screen and only one way to get phone back to work is reflash, i read that :)

Thank you very much for your speedy reply.

One last question, do you foresee there's any problem if my O2 WM6.5/J9 using your 6.5.5 23518 Lite PDA part?

This is the first time I'm trying to flash my Omnia-2 with custom/un-official PDA/ROM part, after had gave-up custom ROM since Omnia-1.
