How to install ROMs on a mac?

Hi

I keep reading that people are using the Acer Download Tool to flash new roms on their Liquids but it's a windows app. How do people with macs flash it? (Without parallels or windows)

I use Vmware fusion and Windows 7 to flash, I was not into trying Darwine to run such an critical utility. I think there is no other way than the windows one...

Doing it on my friends laptop now (windows 7 32 bit). But the Acer A1 download tool won't load.

When I double click the app it just says "Acer - A1 Tool has stopped working"

Any ideas?
