How long does Google Checkout take?

Hi all.

I just signed up and opted to do the paid subscription.

I paid via Google Checkout and got my confirmation email and everything, but it's still not active on the site.

Anyone have any idea how long the process takes?

It took just a couple of minutes for me. I got one email from Google Checkout and one email from [email protected]

I just got my subscription using Google Checkout a couple of hours ago.

I also seem to be having that issue. I first purchased Ad Free, then Plus, both via Google Checkout, but so far (it's been about 5 hours), it has not taken effect. I mailed Paul about it, but haven't received an answer yet (which I don't blame him for, he probably gets tons of messages).

EDIT: Interestingly, the subscription page shows "Paid" as the status.

Account updated.

The system is fully automagic, but sometimes things seem to go amiss on the callback, hence I need to do an intervention. :(

Maybe this timeline helps to track down the source of that issue: (hopefully I remember correctly)

1. Created an account

2. Ordered ad free via google checkout and clicked the callback

3. Clicked the link in the verification mail (the one for the Modaco acc)

4. Ordered the upgrade to Plus and clicked the callback

My first guess would be that the callback screws up either a) if the Modaco account hasn't been verified (mail-wise) or :( on upgrades.

:( is less likely, seeing as Ad Free also didn't take effect after step 2.

By the way, Google Checkout gives you a "retrieve this purchase" link in their web interface, but that one doesn't send any parameters to your script (at least no GETs, I haven't checked if it's really a POST form instead of a simple link).

I am having the same issue as the OP had. I purchased the Ad Free subscription via Google checkout. Could an admin take a look at my account, please?

Hi.

I just made a purchase for the ad-free modaco with google check out to use online kitchen for my desire.

It's my first online use of visa card.so I may be amateur.

but I'm sure the purchase is done because there's a receipt in my gmail inbox : Google order number: 476801234062870

and when I click on the link in google check out "retrieve your account" it takes me back to the payment selection again.

I still can't use the kitchen. what else should I do ?
