Thank you very much contable.

I've got another question if I may trouble you.

How do I make it show the operator name

to appear opposite the date

eg O2 UK SUN SEP 12

Thanks

I will upload a modification for you...but later this day....

@Dr. J.,

this is not a bug. JMLSms.exe is designed for MS Messaging not Samsung Sms-Mms. JMHL doesn´t have a Samsung device so he can´t know

that there is a small problem with reply function. I will talk to him next week.

Cheers

@team sonblack:

thank you,

All I can say is your team are very responsible aside from your very busy lives but you still make a pause, specially mr.Sonblack and contable plus Dr. J.. Am I right? But again

thank you very very much.. :P :)

p.s. Is the media player or touch player to the sb30 updates is same version now as in sb29? Sorry I’m not familiar with the terms and my English are bad. Hope you understand.

And why other application runs to sb29 and on sb30 are not?. Sample nfs game if I’m not mistaken.

thank again and Godbless..

SB29 is based on JE3 original ROM ---> Samsung applications from JE3 ROM

SB30 is based on JG5 original ROM ----> Sam sung Applications from JG5 ROM

JE3 is WM 6.5.3 but JG5 is 6.5 so some other applications can working well with JE3 but cannot with JG5 and vice versa.

Thanks a lot for the info. Now I understand.

But is 6.5.3 flashing by 6.5 matters to its functions or it is falling to down/upgrading, or does not matter? :P :)

And what do you mean by 6.5.x? Sorry for my questions, am still a newbie but trying to catch-up…

thank and Godbless.

I decided to share some of my favourite wallpapers for JMLToday skin V3.0 because of some requests.

As soon as possible I will add a wallpaper extension.

Rename the wallpaper you like to "default_Bkg.jpg" and copy it to \JML folder. After that please refresh titanium (SK2 => menu).

Download whole package:contable´s favourite wallpapers

Enjoy !

thank and Godbless.

Base difference between WM6.5 and WM6.5.x is theme and position of Start button.

With 6.5.x, top bar & bottom bar are not the same high.

For more information, you can see this:

Branches of WM Development: Here is what all these different version numbers relate to, and a summary of their features.

212xx = AKU1, all builds leading up to and including WM 6.5

213xx = MOT motorola

214xx = ???

215xx = SAM samsung

216xx = HTC htc

217xx = COM1, continuing dev of 6.5.0.1 - 6.5.0.40

218xx = COM2, continuing dev of 6.5.0.50

219xx = MD, feature test branch, pretty much dead now. (unstable features are added here, this tree is based on COM1, so older base OS code, but the UI/UX code is newer)

22xxx = SEMC sony ericsson

*230xx = COM3, continuing development

*234xx = COM4, appears to be abandoned.

*235xx = COM5, more GUI changes here. New Outlook Interface.

*236xx = LG Electronics Branch

*24xxx = Possible HTC branch

*25xxx = SEMC - Sony Ericsson

*280xx, 282xx = WMD. This is a continuation of com3 from 23090. Most of the changes appear to be with IE

231xx has threaded email

235xx has threaded email

236xx has threaded email.

@contable: Thank you so much friend for wallpapers.

Sorry to keep asking Sonblack,

Did you manage to look at the issue with SB27

regarding the line of chinese characters appearing

in the sms sent folder.

By the way, thanks for updating SB30.

Although you have removed samsung sms-mms

and installed Arcsoft. There was still some samsung

mms registry keys. This has created a conflict

with ARCsoft.

I like Arcsoft mms, I use it on an old HTC Universal.

For it to work, The ROM has to be cleaned of any

other MMS traces. Completely clean.

Thanks

Mari Saleh

By the way, It will be fantastic if you can update SB27

with JMLToday v3.0

Thanks to @Sonblack and @contable for updated SB30 ROM.

I noticed that the Windows Mobile version in SB30 is 219xx.

And from above quoted post:-

219xx = MD, feature test branch, pretty much dead now. (unstable features are added here, this tree is based on COM1, so older base OS code, but the UI/UX code is newer)

What are the implications? Does it affect the GPS COM port?

Here is the promised customization.

Now it shows on the left side the date, on the right side the provider.

1. Copy the attached folder to JMLToday\skins folder

2. Press SK2 (menu), choose settings, choose change skin

3. choose default_marisaleh

4. Press SK2 (menu), choose weather

That´s all.

If you wanna change the wallpaper rename the wallpaper you like to "default_marisaleh_Bkg.jpg" and copy it to \JML folder.

Enjoy !

yes u already told me that but i thought it was kind of a bug because with the sms pannel of the previous (2.4) version there was no problems.. also, like i said before, there's a temporary fix for that. we just have to rename our contacts that have a "space" in their names, e.g., Contable buddy --> Contable_buddy

cheers buddy(!) ahah

Hello’

First of all I would like to thank the sbROM team for their great job.

Sb30 update is much better and a user friendly ROM, :lol: :)

Only a little concern sir/madam about using the password-lock on my device, because every time I enabling the password-lock on my device I’m always come across on stacking-up on blank screen and the only way to solve it is to detach my battery and to disable the password-lock but I need it for my privacy.

Thanks’

And anyone can suggest what media player and version is good for sb30.

Cheers’’

If you use SB29 you have to enable it manually. Edit JMLToday.ini file.

[RunAt]

enable=0

time=07:00

every=60

endTime=23:00

pgm=%JMLTODAY%\JMLMeteo.exe;-jmltoday

set time intervall and enable = 1

After that choose menu (SK2) and update...

Skin V3.0 has a toggle => menu, parameters, weather...

thanks for the tip. :lol:

the automatic update doesent work...

my JMLToday.ini settings:

[RunAt]

enable=1

time=07:00

every=60

endTime=23:00

pgm=%JMLTODAY%\JMLMeteo.exe;-jmltoday

lastDate=2010/03/26

lastTime=11:34

[Offset]

offset=+7:00

city=Bangkok

[scheduler]

;22:10=\Windows\ctlpnl.exe|cplmain.cpl,3

[Notify]

JMLTodayAlarm=%PROGRAMFILES%\JMLToday\UpdateNullPNG.mscr

JMLTodaySms=%PROGRAMFILES%\JMLToday\UpdateSMS_page1.mscr

fullDate=dddd dd MMMM

alarmDate=ddd dd MMM

what is the failure?

my city is "Fröndenberg" in germany (MSN Code: 8227520)

manually update on the home screen works perfect. only the automatic update doesent work.

As I have written before: after you have edited JMLToday.ini you have to press update (SK2 => menu) for refreshing the registry keys.

The auto-update is working well. I use it myself.

Thank you very much contable,

I installed the skin as per your instructions,

The date shows on the left ok.

The operator doesn't show.

Some icons are not clickable any more.

By the way this was installed on the Updated SB30.

Can this skin be used with any SB ROM

Thanks again
