Phantom e-mail

Does anyone know how to remove a phantom e-mail from the Sense Homepage tab?

It's only on the tab at the bottom, no sign of it anywhere else, always shows one more e-mail than I have.

Have tried turning Sense off and on, turning sense off and rebooting phone, ... all the usual stuff!

Have you recently added a new email account or set up a new exchange sync? I found when I did this there'd be a message from MS about 'email tips' would magically appear. It appearred as a 'read' message but still added a count of 1 to the 'unread' . If it's there delete it.
