Recommended Apps?

6 posts in this topic

I ordered my Tab from Germany (and over paid), it arrived yesterday and I'm having fun with it.

Can anyone recommend applications that are optimised / make best use of the larger display?

Thanks,

Dan

So far I've only had one app that looks bad scaling and that was a bad app.

I have kindle and angry birds, they both look great. Angry Birds is so much better on the tab than on my htc desire.

Edit: I just installed IMDB, it looks good. They could make better use of the extra screen space (i'm sure future versions will) otherwise it's good. I played a trailer and it looked great.

I find the browser to be fine most of the time, slows down a lot when I have multiple tabs open.

The browser is really slow in my eyes as well, compared to the iPad browser there is pretty much room for improvments. Otherwise the Tab is very snappy.

I'm currently using the Skyfire browser, it works great and is faster than the stock one.
