finally the device deserved a personal thread!!

2 posts in this topic

seems that more and more people are gaining interest in the folio, that it finally got its personal thread here at modaco.

It would be nice if owners could post what apps and roms ( probaly/hopefully many will be available in the near future) they are using on their folio and how the experience is with the device.

Mine is running the stock rom (rooted), Launcher Pro, Smart Keyboard, winamp, Dolphin HD, android youtube app, android facebook app.

The only outstanding non-trivial issue I have is it waking up from standby (or refusing to wake up - it seems to have two stable modes!)

Edit: now running foliomod, which adds OGLES 2.0, and full 360 screen rotation. It isn't perfect yet, but shows what can be done. Standby mode still has some flaws (well backlight off, standby is mia)

Should we infer from the lack of activity that everyone else has returned theirs?

Edit: A post on the Toshiba forums suggests a statement regarding flash is due on Friday 26th... Wondering exactly what the problem is with this - not heard of any problems (maybe the flash games are slow?)
