If you're talking about the stock 1.04 then no, it doesn't take that long, about 5-10 mins at a guess.

IIRC, the DOS box/Terminal that pops up on the desktop will keep you informed of the progress, and the Vega should display something about "flashing NVRAM" (this may be worded wrong - going from memory here sorry!!)

1.04.01 & 1.06.5 are now available from MyAdventVega.co.uk

1.04.01 is a Bluetooth fix

1.06.5 removes Flash support

Not sure what else is new/changed. (Above info from myadventvega.co.uk)

1.04.01 has now been removed from the web site BUT the URL still works !! http://www.myadventvega.co.uk/softwareImag..._Vega_Final.exe

Official site http://www.myadventvega.co.uk has a PDF copy of the manual online, as well as a '1.03' update.

There aren't any! Closest is http://www.androidzine.com/

Get Pulse and subscribe to Android Central and Phandroid. Unless anyone knows better?
