Yes, latest is B08!

Do we have / can we get a B16 dump?

P

See the first post in this thread for the link to the Potugeezer.

IMHO the B16 is a typo and it probably derives from the unreleased B06 that Sebastian heard something about.

The newest seems to be the Finnish, but they seem to have a different compass/accelerometer, as I noted in a thread that seems to have vanished.

Isn't the UK latest B08? Where has B16 come from?

from the V08's build.prop

ro.build.sw_internal_version=OUK_P729BV1.0.0B16

The INTERNAL version is often different from the one you see in 'phones/about'...

Thanks for clearing that up. ;)

Does UK-08 seem newer or older than the Finnish?

Or turning that around, what hardware variants are not supported by 08.

The 5mp camera, and what else?

As a development base, does the Finnish still look the best bet?

OUK_P729BV1.0.0B08 is the 'newest' ROM we've seen, tho OCH_P_P729BV1.0.0B01 is 24 hours earlier...

Although by build date (and gmsversion) our B08 is very old. The newest are still the Finnish ROM, then Portuguese ROM (which seems to be based on the UK B08). (And Hungarian and Greek before our B08.)

Oh, in terms of ro.build.date, the Finish (EFIN_P729BV1.0.0B02) one is the newest

I would like to have a request!

Tomorrow I am taking back my Hungarian Blade to T-Mob, and I need to restore it's original state. I've got everything to do so, except the recovery - as it isn't the same as the Orange one published in the forums.

Could anyone dump me the original stock Hungarian recovery? I would be very glad to see it before tomorrow afternoon!

Oh almost forgot, to do the dump:

Use terminal, type this:

dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd0 of=/sdcard/recovery.img bs=4096

then grab the recovery from your card's root! Thank you very much!

It is important, I need a Hungarian Blade's dump!

Try this one. I got it from the person who dumped the Hungarian ROM and I think he used Universal Androot to root and then dump so it's a good chance that it's a real recovery partition and not the clockwork one. (I have not tested it)

Fastboot: writing 'recovery' ... FAILED (remote: flash write failure)

Trying with flash_image now...

BTW do you think that T-mobile will try every mode to discover if the firmware was modified?

EDIT:

Solved with using dd from adb ;)

Ok,- Mobile (Switzerland): ZTE San Francisco

OCH_P_P729BV1.0.0B01

CODE

ro.build.version.release=2.1-update1

ro.build.date=Tue Oct 19 06:15:35 CST 2010

ro.build.sw_internal_version=OCH_P_P729BV1.0.0B04

ro.build.display.id=OCH_P_P729BV1.0.0B01

ro.com.google.gmsversion=2.1_r10

OCH is Orange Switzerland, CH stands for Confederatio Helvetica, Latin for Swiss Confederation

I understand that okmobile.ch is a collaboration between Orange and Valora, but OCH is Orange Switzerland like OUK is Orange United Kingdom
