Accelerometer Games and Apps

There seems to be something askew with the accelerometer. It seems to be 90 degrees out. This is based on one game (Abduction - World Attack) and on Google Sky map. In both cases it's behaving as if gravity was coming from the side, not from below.

It's a shame because the accelerometer, although probably not great, does look servicable for games such as Abduction. Is there a way of calibrating it? (There is in Abudction, but it makes no difference). Could it be fixed?

Thanks, Graham

I noticed it on google sky maps, but I thought that app requires a compass too, which the Vega doesn't have (unless I'm mistaken)

I noticed this on Raging Thunder 2... Sounds like something that could be fixed with a kernel update (or even modified software to alter the accelerometer values after reading?)

The accelerometer has worked fine for me on the one game that Ive got that can successfully use it(Asphalt5) however its not that great when it comes to using it for a game its not sensitive enough and the game plays much better in screen tap mode.

Yeah, looking at the accelerometer values they are 180deg out on the screen plane (accelerometer is probably upside down) Flipping the Y and X axis should do the trick. Don't think we can fix that without kernel source. I've tweeted @AdventVega on the subject but I'm not expecting anything quickly.
