First thing you should do is dump the rom

http://android.podtwo.com/romdump/

if you can dump it and uploaded it somewhere, I'll take a look at it, I seem to be on a roll with ZTE devices

Are you aware of any kind of tool such as Vlite for android? Or any other strip utility for noobs like me? It would be awsome to remove add-ons by simply disabling a check box!

Since the Vodafone 945 has similar specs to ZTE Blade, beside the screen resolution, and it's also a ZTE, is it possible to use the ZTE Blade/San francisco on it?

How can I create a Custom Recovery for this phone?

Keyboard shortcuts to FTM and Fastboot are the same that BLADE/San Francisco has.

Ok, here we go then....

NO GUARANTEES...

Here is a build of ClockworkMod Recovery 2.5.1.8 that *MIGHT*/*SHOULD* work with the ZTE Joe

b1_recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8-joe.img

and here is a recovery update for the device...

VPT_P727AV1.0.0B09-update_signed.zip

Anyone care to test it out and report back?
