Guest tom_sad Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) I wanted to introduce you to my new ROM for Acer MT Liquid S120. tomsmod_v1.4.1_Acerless tomsmod_v1.4.2_AcerUI Update 1.4.1: - Based on Acer_LiquidMetal_1.100.16 (Android 2.2.2) - 1.5 GHz kernel with 43FPS limit (default is it at 30FPS Acer) - SetCPU is already installed - root - ADW Launcher installed as a single launcher - Market ratings without error (star rating) - New FM radio app - new gmail app - Maps, Market, Flash Player to the latest versions - It is only the original keyboard Android 2.2 installed - Fixed a few minor bugs Download here: tomsmod_v1.4.1_Acerless / tomsmod_v1.4.2_AcerUI HowTo Install: - start in Recovery Mode (best AmonRA 1.0) - make Nandroid BackUp - Wipe AllData - flash tomsmod_v1.4.1_signed - Restart Edited February 6, 2011 by tom_sad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It seems you've kept Acer stuff, anything else ? Cheers I reduced the acer stuff on the most necessary. Framework has remained standard 2.2, contacts and dialer is from acer ui. I do not like it so much, I think it would be better with a clean Gingerbread theme and just mass performer improvement and weight loss. I was going to try one of Veach or tom_sad rum soon but idont know which one is best :P Edit: Wrong tread.. I'm not sure he was aware of that, because I think that launcher force closing could be due to the fact that he didn't wipe before flashing.
