Guest daaabs Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 Hi everybody I'm running 2.1 and really want to upgrade to the latest Swiftdroid build But before I do that (I think?!?!) I have to flash a fastboot rom (please correct me if I'm wrong) So I've followed the instructions in the GT540 reference thread and the first part of the 2.2 update thread (installing the fastboot rom): http://android.modaco.com/content/lg-gt540...-newbs-like-me/ But the KDZ updater keeps giving me errors. Win7 gives me "file extract error" and win xp gives me a runtime error. Start the phone in download mode this way turning it off and then hold the Vol Down + Power. Afterwards Run KDZ updater as administrator. Choose 3GQCT and Emergency mode.
