Slow widget or apps adding

Hi all,

1. Paul, tons of thanks for your work. My HTC Hero's already flying with your roms too...

2. When I add a widget on a screen, at the very first time, it takes quite a lot of time (5 to 10 seconds), but if a add another widget, right after the first one, it goes as fast as it should (means normal). Am I the only one to experience that ?

(I use launcher Pro, but it's the same whether I use LGHome or ADW or SPB MObile Shell...)

3. By the way, LG Home is quite laggy, or is it me again ?

Again, many thanks Paul.

Okdac

yes I have got the some problem. it seems that all the widgets will be stored in a cache and after a while will be lost again.

Yup, same here, even straight out of the box with no extra widgets available than what stock ROM makes available..

I've tried all launchers/home replacements I could get my mitts on, but it has always remained that way.

Instantaneous for me too, even with the earlier Fr versions. I only use launcher pro, but just tried it with the LG, and stock launcher.

Instant on those too.

I cant comment about when it was stock, because I upgraded straight away to Pauls roms

+1 for the slow adding. Takes me few seconds to get the list of available widgets to show up.

Listing applications also takes a very long time when adding a app shortcut to home screen

running fr11, vanilla froyo theme, stock android lockscreen and launcher (no LG launcher installed). I wiped before install.

Same here. I had a slight lag before, but on Fr11 it's become closer to 10 seconds the first time after a boot.
