      ILLEGAL CONTENT I'd like to just reaffirm MoDaCo's position regarding piracy and illegal content in the light of some recent questions / postings. Posts will be censored by myself or my moderation team if the contain or link to: Illegal / pirated / cracked software or sites that host such softwareNintendo emulators / ROMs or sites hosting them (in light of Nintendo's legal stance)CUSTOM ROMS You may discuss and post links to custom device ROMs on MoDaCo, provided the following rules are adhered to: ROMs must not contain any illegal 3rd party software (this includes trial versions included without permission)ROMs must give full credit to the original authorISSUES If you have any issues with this policy, please contact PaulOBrien directly via PM.

WHY!!!!

Why is it that the rest of Europe has already received the gingerbread update for the Desire HD....

Yet in the UK, us SIM FREE peeps have to wait....EVEN VODAFONE UK HAVE RELEASED IT!!

WTF is that all about!!??!? Bloody wrong!!!

SIM free should always have it first!!

I was told by HTC support that unbranded UK users should get the update on Friday or today, but still there's nothing. :mellow:

its all over the net 2day that the OTA's are rollin out 2day ........... im afraid i still aint got it but im aware others have

tryna find out if i aint gettin it cos of root access or if my fone is like just last on the rollout list lol

Well I've still not got it. Really pee'd off as I was one of the first to get the HD too!

You phone should still receive the notification of the OTA update, it will even download it and try to install it. However if your CID has been changed to anything apart from standard (as it was when it came in the box) then the update will fail.

I've got a branded DHD on 3. Still no sign of an update.

Any ideas when these might hit us?
