Installing Google Video Chat on your Samsung Galaxy S II

I've released a utility to do it!

Enjoy! :)

Might be worth a warning that running that will remove the google accounts from your phone.

It's NOT a big problem as you can add them back and resync calendar, contacts etc from the cloud, but it is a little worrying if you weren't expecting it :P

The original thread states yes, but i cant see where it states that it will wipe your google account off, thus having to add it again. Also not sure if it works with all firmware/kernels

I can't seem to install it (Using rooted KE2)

It seems to hang on 'Installing Google Video Talk' after I've given it Superuser permission

Same Here, with the new Rom: XWKE7

It just uninstalls the Talk app and installs nothing

Edit: Just enable USB Debug and it worked life a charm, so silly :P
