I want to buy a screen protector and a case for my nexus... Which do you recommend?

The title says it all... I don't want to end up with a device with some screen scratches and some damage on the plastic case due to falls...

Thanks

You just say that because your phone is scared of you... But the truth is that you've end up with a worse phone.

Even though it has a better processor

You are right, getting a screen protector have no harm but can protect your screen. Why not coat you screen? As I know, GloablDirectParts supplies many kinds of screen protect but I am not sure if you can find the one you need on it.
