Developing my master degree Thesis on O2 With android...

Hi all, I want to develop ad augmented Reality application (so i must use Camera) in Android for my master degree Thesis...It's possible to use my O2 with last android porting or i must buy an android phone?

I'm waiting for use this app from begin, when dev. team start this project. I want to use O2 with Android only for this app, but......Android 2.1 Eclair beta2 have functionaly sensor digital compass, but noworking camera. Froyo beta have camera, but noworking digital compass.

What i need is only camera...for my application digital compass is not usefull...camera is accessible with android sdk?

With Froyo Beta 1, i think it shoule be work

Augmented reality apps works with camera on froyo beta on O2.
