Need help creating a .cab that changes registry key

Hi there,

as topic states i need your help

i want to have a shortcut on my homescreen to an app that simply switches the value of

\HKCU\ControlPanel\Backlight\BacklightOnTap

from 0 -> 1 if 0 was set

and 1 -> 0 if 1 was set

how do i proceed? create a .cab? create an .exe? how? ;)

please help me because i cant read a damn thing in the sun and i hate going through the samsung menus to switch it on/off everytime i'm outside.

on the other hand i want to save battery when i really dont need backlight ...

you can create a cab file with only reg part.

yes, i have created a cab that changes the value, but i have two cabs atm, on for turning it on and another to turn it off ;)

how do i integrate the "if" part to pack this into one cab?

for this it would be better to use a mort script
