Improving battery life

6 posts in this topic

Is there a way of improving battery life for the Optimus One? I have it in its untampered state, and intend to keep it that way.

Do any of the Batt saver apps work?

Batt saver I looked at just showed functions to close to save battery,do it yourself not automatic.

Let us know how you get on with that one.

Beware the ebay seller, battery arrived but did not fit phone, plastic sleeve around battery stopped it sitting in the phone correctly, Ive filed the plastic battery suround but then I read in the sellers feedback battery is alledgedly the regular 1500mAh type,my fault should have read feedback first.

After pointing out to have nearly double capacity battery would be physically larger seller is giving a refund,I think he was conned by Chinese supplier

Not giving up hope, found an emergency charger on ebay, you charge it plug into your P500(& several other LG phones) & it charges the phones battery, under £9 post free

Seen a 1800mAh on an American site for $44 post free, good reviews

Just received a 1600mAh from a friend in the USA,he bought it on American ebay for me as seller wouldn't post outside US/Canada Cost $12 total with friends postage to me Chinese made for Anker batteries in USA.

Very slight improvement, anything is better than nothing with the way it eats power
