ZTE T-U880 (Variant Of Blade)

I totally agree with you that this phone is different from standard blade but ZTE is to be blamed who is marketing it with the trademark Blade.

So, I thought starting this thread will help eliminating the confusion among blade users.

Putting this thread some where else is unfair, as it is being market as ZTE-Blade by the manufacturer.

That's fine. I have no problem with the thread being here now, but people will need to be aware that any ROM for this phone will most likely not work on any other devices. Different CPU, very different radio..

A shame really.

Wow, at last, market is UP.

Here is the addon for installing market on ZTE T-U880 (flash using ClockWorkMod Recovery).

Hi, Solidchips! I'm Android newbie and I've got exactly same phone. How can I get market? Could you give me an instruction, please.

Don't mentions. I've rooted my phone. Recovery installed. Problem with addon_market.

E:Error in /sdcard/addon_market_Zte_T-U880.zip

Why error?

Hello.

I bought myself this phone delivery from China. In Chinese Forum downloaded the latest firmware already working with the Android Market.

If you are interested I can upload the firmware, but there are many Chinese programs will have to delete them manually.

PS. Sorry for my english, im from Russia

it's just a new kind of phone producted by ZTE and released in the mainland of China. From the informations I can get now, it has a larger(512) RAM and a diffrent CPU from our blade(we call it V880 in China). Oh, i almost forgot it, the U880 can't use the blade's(V880) ROMs. I'm from the mainland of China.

Hi fizpaket

The clockwork recovery for U880 does not support all the features. AFAIK, you can't backup/restore using nandroid, can't mount sdcard etc.

If you are in China, like me, use some proxy software. Mediafire not working in China.
