[closed] Bricked phone, please help ;-)

Hello,

I bricked my phone.. but I don't know how, I was just flashing another baseband + kernel.

The symptomes are :

- Sony Ericsson logo for 5 sec, then I get a buggy yellow color down the 1/3 of the screen, then shutdown.

- Sometimes with my manipulation, I get the yellow exclamation mark.

I tried :

- FlashTool 2.9.1 : flashing of a X10i_2.0.2.A.0.24_Generic.ftf , I get :

- SEUS : Really strange : I only can press on the X10 (SO-10B) version, If I click on X10, it automaticaly change to X10 (SO-10B), but for what I've read, this last one is for Japan and I'm in switzerland !

--> when I try then to flash with SEUS, it says "cannot finish reinstallation"

Any clues to help me please ?

I'm actually trying to get it full charged, but I cannot see the charging image, only a Green Led.

When connecting to sector, I get the Exclamation mark with a little phone beside, and then automatic reboot.

charge your phone from the mains for about an hour to make sure of charge and also check the connectors on your usb, make sure none are bent, this happened to me last time when 1 had broke, data was unable to transfer properly.....

if this is not the case then try it again using a different flashtool and ftf file as this maybe corrupt.. i have seen this before

What is strange is that I tried also with Flashtool 0.2.3 (an old one) and the full .ftf file was installed in 5seconds without errors (normaly it takes 2-3min for the 250mo ftf file) so I think the old version isn't a good solution (also there was no difference after this flash)

That's what I thought but I was on TripNMiui Froyo and then TripNMiui GB... I must say that this whole s*** happened after trying to flash the GB_kernel & 67baseband, which I think you made ?

I've tried once charged & with another USB cable, but always getting : 10/002/2011 21:02:48 - ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted

What is strange is that this error sometimes comes after : system.sin, sometimes after amss_fs.sin or fota1.sin

As if the connection is lost after X minutes/secondes..

Edit : perhaps I got my idea !!! My USB port is perhaps disconnecting ! Trying another one

but i didn't have problem with it,i tried it too

i think ur problem is the battery so charge it before flashing anything

edit :maybe reboot ur pc ;)

Problem solved, Impossibility to flash through Flashtool was due to USB ports disconnecting every 1-2min !

This problem with USB port is a well known problem on PC, but cause is unknown (power supply getting old? )

I remembered that when transfering large files to USB-sticks, it was also disconnecting ..

x10 uses usb 2.0

some front usb's on older PC's maybe old usb ports and not 2.0.. you should invest in a mini usb hub that pulls 1 port from the back and makes it into 4 that you can attach at front
