Guess who got the phone?

Yep, me!

After a while of having Android on my HTC HD2, I decided it was time to own a "real" Android phone and this is what I've picked.

I have been umming & ahhing over HTC Sensation for a while but the speed difference from the Galaxy blows it away which is why I've chosen this phone. And I'm really glad now!

Managed to get this phone off from someone on Twitter - brand new, never used, never switched on, unwanted upgrade (he got an iPhone) and he sold it to me.

It came from Three and I was really happy when I found it has no SIM lock! I was able to get my TMobile SIM to work with it. Saved me some money to get it unlocked. :D

At the moment, no real need to root it... so I will stay with stock until I get bored with it. :P

I see there are some bloat apps on it, so the first thing I will do is to remove them.

Anyone recommend any good & free app that I should install on this phone?

Search the android market, u'll find one you like.

I have my preferences that will be different to yours.

But could you tell me what is wrong with my signature and how to fix it?

Edit: I can recommend some: Opera mobile and Blackmart Alpha :)

As far as I can figure (pretty new to Android), you can't remove the bloatware without rooting it first.

In terms of apps to recommend, what type of apps do you like?

I got the genuine Samsung leatherette flip case. Been great. Don't bother with screen protector nor belt clips.

Thanks. At the moment, I have ordered the "Genuine Samsung i9100 Galaxy S 2 II Black Cool Vent/Mesh Case/Cover/Skin" from Amazon with the amazing price of £6.65!

Knowing from my old phone, the HD2, I did have scratches on it, but thankfully protected by the screen protector, so I think I might need one!

Currently looking around...

Llama is a good app, it will auto silence your phone when you enter a specific area E.g Collage,

You can also set it up to turn off wifi, bluetooth, GPS ect....
