flash player - gr4

Been enjoying Gr4 for the last few days but just like with stock v20e b4, im experiencing bad flash performance. I cannot do more than 360p on youtube and on youtube test page at http://www.youtube.com/my_speed i get ~14fps and a miserable 4fps on 720p. back in august when i tried a cm nightly, i remember having fluid 720p playback on yt but never again since then. Has anybody else noticed that or actually been able to get fluid youtube hd performance lately? Appreciate any input.

peace

Problem solved.. After spending lots of time lookin in tegra2 devices forums, It seems that nor flash 11 nor the last flash 10.3.186.6 support HW acceleration for the tegra chip. The 'magic' version is the one-b4-last of the 10.3s, namely 10.3.185.22 which, after installing, gave me a clear 30fps on 480p and 25-30fps on 720p on youtube's speed test page. The difference in performance is more than obvious, i would suggest that anyone with repro issues w flash 11 would try it.

Peace

Can anybody tell me why is it that FlashPlayer11 doesnt support Tegra HW acceleration if Flash Player 10.3.185.22 can do that?

It doesnt bother me on youtube, but few times I wanted to play some series on megavideo etc, and now i know why i cant do that :-(

I found that flash player version here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1164948 , but to my astonishment HW acc worked for a couple of days and now im back to 4fps on 720p on youtube's speed test page!! I really dont know whats going on, but its my opinion that nVidia's work on the tegra2 chip as far as flash player HW acc is concerned was an EPIC fail. Not only some versions seem to 'wake the system up' and others no, but even this cannot be consistent enough.. I dont want to start nugging about LG/nVidia's disastrous decisions and implementations, it could just go on for ever.. For every 2 things that are fixed on the o2x (thanx to people like Paul and a few others) one breaks down.
